EAGLE SCOUT: July 9, 2009 My Eagle Scout project was a series of two landscape gardens located at the Lakeville Veteran’s Memorial. We had to put in the edging of both of the gardens and then we had to plant the plants and mulch the two of them. It looks great and I appreciate all the help I got on it.

EAGLE SCOUT: January 13, 2009 I put in edging and mulch around thirty trees along the upper driveway at All Saints church. A number of volunteers helped compile 132 man hours in two days of work. For the second phase of my project, I built four fifteen-foot movable benches for the church’s baseball fields. My brothers, my father, a friend, and I worked for three Saturdays on the benches.
EAGLE SCOUT: December 9th, 2008 Tyler's Eagle Scout project was to create an outdoor learning space for the Area Learning Center (ALC) in Lakeville. It gives teachers a chance to expand the classroom by giving students the opportunity to learn outside. It was made possible by numerous generous donations and over 200 hours of work. The space was created by planting a large tree, edging it with decorative bricks and mulching it. Four large, flat wooden benches were built, stained and cemented in. To prevent wear on the grass, brick pavers were installed in front and back of the benches. The school has been using the space and enjoying it.

EAGLE SCOUT: April 11th, 2008 Coltan's Eagle Scout project took place at YMCA Camp Streefland in Lakeville, MN. The camp wanted to use a small island in a lake next to the camp more. It was accessible by a small bridge or canoe. A campfire pit as well as 4 benches surrounding the fire pit as well as a 5th bench that overlooked the lake was constructed. The island campsite is used considerably more now. Currently, Coltan is studying at Dunwoody Institute to become a commercial electrician.

EAGLE SCOUT: November 4th, 2005 Geoff’s Eagle project took place at the parsonage (home for the Youth Pastor and his family) at Rosemount United Methodist Church. The front porch, walkway, and sidewalk alongside the drive way had deteriorated to the point where it was unsafe. Geoff’s project removed about 3 cubic yards of bad concrete, replace it and add a new 15’ by 15’ concrete patio for the young children to play on.
